Mode of action: Microginins are a class of small, linear non-ribosomal peptides isolated fromvarious cyanobacteria, primarily Microcystis aeruginosa. The microginins act as inhibitors againstzinc metalloproteases such as angiotensin-converting enzyme1 and leucine aminopeptidase.2
